A Chinese artist dubbed ‘The Invisible Man’ has given his first live UK performance at London’s Saatchi Gallery. Liu Bolin, 43, travels around the world blending into backgrounds, and is painted to match his surroundings until he vanishes.

The Disappearing Act performance at START Art Fair saw him painted into a new sculpture completely made of LEGO bricks. The artwork is based on his own design and Bolin, a Beijing fine arts academy graduate, said: ”My inspiration came from my memory about sunflowers. In the east, the sunflower is a symbol, it represents every single one of us, growing towards the sun.”
